TZADAKAH BOX

"Tzedakah" is the Hebrew word for acts calles charity in English: giving aid, assistance & money to the poor & needy or to other worthy causes. However, the nature of tzedakah is very different from the idea of charity.

 "Charity" suggests bebvolence & geerosity, a magnaanimous act bt the wealty & powerful to benefit the poor & needy. The word "tzedakah" is derived from the Hebrew root Tzade-Dalet-Qof, meaninf righteousness, justice, or fairness.
